Plan Limits

Every plan in Producer Dashboard comes with built-in limits that shape how much you can create and collaborate. Understanding these boundaries helps you plan your projects, avoid unexpected restrictions, and decide when it might be time to upgrade.

Your subscription plan determines two key resource ceilings:

  • Track limits — how many active tracks you can have in your workspace
  • Collaborator limits — how many people you can invite to work on your projects

These are hard ceilings on your workspace size, not monthly quotas that reset. When you approach or reach a limit, the app displays clear indicators so you can manage your usage before running into walls.

You can view your current plan details and resource usage in the Settings panel under Subscription. This section shows:

  • Your current plan tier (Free, Starter, Pro, or Lifetime)
  • How many tracks you’ve created versus your maximum
  • How many collaborators you’re currently working with

The interface uses colour-coded badges to communicate status at a glance — green for healthy usage, yellow when you’re halfway to a limit, and red when you’re approaching the ceiling.

Each plan caps the number of tracks you can actively manage in your workspace. This includes tracks in any workflow stage — from initial ideas to published releases.

PlanMaximum Tracks
FreeUp to 20 tracks
StarterUp to 100 tracks
ProUnlimited
LifetimeUnlimited

When you hit your track limit, you’ll see a message prompting you to archive or delete existing tracks before creating new ones. Archiving a track removes it from your active workspace without losing any data — you can restore archived tracks later if needed.

Every track in your workspace counts, regardless of its status. A track marked “Idea” counts the same as one marked “Published.” This ensures consistent tracking across your entire production pipeline.

Tracks in the trash are automatically cleaned up after 30 days and don’t contribute to your active count during that period.

Collaboration limits govern how many people you can invite to work on your tracks. Different plans offer different team sizes, allowing you to scale your projects from solo work to full production teams.

PlanMaximum Collaborators
FreeNo collaborators
StarterUnlimited
ProUnlimited
LifetimeUnlimited

The Free plan is designed for solo producers. If you’re working with collaborators, you’ll need to upgrade to at least the Starter plan.

Each unique collaborator invited to at least one of your tracks counts toward your limit — regardless of how active they are. If you invite someone and then remove them, they no longer count against your total once the change takes effect.

Guest collaborators who have accepted invitations but haven’t yet logged in still count toward your limit.

The Plan Limits panel provides a detailed breakdown of your current usage. You can access it from:

  1. Click your profile avatar in the top navigation bar
  2. Select Subscription & Billing from the dropdown menu
  3. Locate the Plan Limits card on the page

This panel shows:

  • A progress bar for each resource type
  • Exact numbers (e.g., “47 of 50 tracks used”)
  • Quick action buttons to manage your usage

Clicking “Show Details” on any resource expands the panel to show:

  • Historical usage trends over the past 90 days
  • Which projects contain the most resource usage
  • Recommendations for managing your limits

This expanded view is particularly useful when you’re planning large projects or preparing for a busy production period.

If your current plan doesn’t accommodate your workflow, upgrading is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Change Plan or Upgrade
  3. Select your desired tier
  4. Confirm payment details

Upgrades take effect immediately, and you’ll have instant access to your new limits. If you’re partway through a billing cycle, we’ll prorate the cost based on the remaining days.

Before downgrading to a lower tier, ensure your current usage falls within the new plan’s limits. If you exceed the limits of a lower tier, you’ll need to archive or remove excess tracks and collaborators before the downgrade takes effect.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, giving you time to adjust your workspace.
